Danielle has a wealth of experience of playing at
events of the highest calibre behind her, Danielle is one of London and the
South East’s most popular harpists for special events. She regularly plays for
distinguished audiences at venues such as the nation’s leading museums and
galleries as well as stately homes. Danielle has played at all of the region’s
leading hotels but also performs at private parties in homes and marquees.
Her repertoire includes everything you would think playable on the harp and plenty that you would think would not be! This includes the more obvious categories such as light classical music, music from shows and musicals and traditional music, but also current chart numbers and popular music from the whole of the 20th and 21st centuries including jazz, Jewish music, Japanese music and now even, with flautist Timothy Kipling, Chinese music. Styles can be upbeat or soothing, and Danielle is always happy to match the music to the style which you wish to set for your event. This attention to detail also extends to dress and choice of instrument: In addition to the modern concert harp, Danielle has a number of different harps from different periods to choose from, extending from the late 18th century through to a brightly coloured modern electric ‘celtic’ harp and Danielle will endeavour to match her outfit to your colour scheme or theme. As well as solo and duo music with flute, Danielle also performs with flute and oboe or viola or cello together, multiple harps, violin, voice, horn, clarinet, or with a dancer performing in a variety of dance styles from Baroque to modern Jazz and tap.

enjoy in Danielle Perrett's harp playing. It is vivacious, musically shaped,
phrased and paced with obvious enjoyment and there is a very wide range of
dynamic...this recording has some charming music played with affection and
enthusiasm.

charming disc, light elegant and poised, as 18th century music performed on
instruments of the period should be." Rubbra - The Complete Chamber Music & Songs with Harp - ASV DCA 1036
"It is Danielle
Perrett's stunning solo harp playing which offers the deepest insight into
Rubbra's serene, pure writing."
"Danielle Perrett
plays with finesse and sensitivity and I particularly admire her free,
