Sharron started playing the harp at the age of ten in her
native Wales, she then went on to study at the Royal Northern College of Music
and as a postgraduate at Trinity College of Music. Following her studies,
Sharron has pursued a successful and varied career.
Sharron has played with many leading UK Orchestras, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Sharron has also played regularly with the Northern Ballet, Moscow City Ballet and in West End and Touring Musicals. Most recently she performed with Pavarotti with the New Symphony Orchestra at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.
As a function harpist, Sharron has played regularly at the Landmark Hotel, The Waldorf Hotel and Harrods. She has also played events at The Victoria and Albert Museum. Madam Tussauds, The Tower of London, Hampton Court, Earls Court, Warwick Castle and at the top of the BT Tower.
Sharron also plays as a flute and harp duo, performing extensively at many prestigious venues around Great Britain. The duo are in great demand for both recitals and functions. Sharron continues to work on extending the limited flute and harp duo repertoire available, personally arranging a vast amount of popular music for the combination.
